A Vegan Thanksgiving Feast – 2017

Hi everyone! We are Dr. Ashley Boudet and Chef Mark Reinfeld from The Doctor & The Chef and Vegan Fusion, a husband and wife team dedicated to promoting health and wellness through our knowledge of naturopathic medicine and plant-based cooking. We are excited to partner with Natural Grocers to provide delicious original recipes for your vegan Thanksgiving feast!

One of the myths about a vegan lifestyle is that we don’t have anything to eat during the holiday season and that we have to deprive ourselves of hearty comfort foods that taste good. We are here to prove the naysayers wrong!

We’ve developed several easy—and satisfying—recipes just for Natural Grocers that will make your Thanksgiving a memorable feast! With only seven main ingredients per recipe, you can feel confident in making these for your guests.

We’ve centered the meal around a mouthwatering Pecan Sage Holiday Loaf that uses the heartiness of pecans, wild and brown rice, and lentils to create a filling main entrée. The delicious sides for our vegan Thanksgiving meal include Golden Gravy, Coconut Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes with Toasted Walnuts, Braised Kale with Shallots and Slivered Almonds, Lemony Herbed Cauliflower Roast, and Cranberry Apricot Sauce with Crystallized Ginger.
