Butternut Squash with Apples

  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into 3/4-inch slices
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (or GF flour)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Add all ingredients to list

  1. Arrange squash in a 12-inch x 8-inch baking pan.
  2. Top with apple wedges.
  3. Sprinkle flour evenly over apples.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon over apples and squash.
  5. Bake covered at 350° F for 50 to 60 minutes, or until tender. This dish can be made the day before and warmed up for your turkey dinner.
