  • 20 brussel sprouts, trimmed, halved lengthwise, outer leaves removed
  • 4 slice(s) bacon, diced, (sugar-free)
  • 2 tbsp(s) ghee
  • 3 garlic, cloves, smashed and finely minced
  • salt to taste

  1. In a medium skillet, over medium high heat, add the bacon. Cook for approximately 3 minutes, until bacon is slightly browned, stir often.
  2. Turn the heat to medium low, add the ghee, garlic, and the Brussels sprouts, stir once, and cover with a lid. Let it cook for 10 minutes without stirring.
  3. Remove the lid, season with salt (to taste), stir well (use a flat spatula to lift sprouts, turning and making sure nothing stays stuck on the pan), then cover again allowing the sprouts to cook for another 5 minutes or until tender when pierced with a knife.
